All children are welcome at Cheney UCC.  We offer Christian Education classes (Sunday School) for three-year-olds through 8th graders.  The children are dismissed from church services after the Children's Minutes, and go directly to their classes.  Our curriculum is lectionary-based, providing a continuity of biblical message for both adults and children.   Christian Education classes are available from September through May. 

Children's personal milestones and birthdays are joyously celebrated in this church! They also participate in regular community service projects.  Cheney UCC has a history of active Middle and High School Youth Groups.  Summer camp at N-Sid-Sen, on beautiful lake Coeur d' Alene is a favorite part of our children's summer religious experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

During the worship service, nursery care is also offered for infants and toddlers.  The nursery hours are 9:45 to 11:15 on Sundays. 

Adult discussion groups are held intermittently in the evenings.  Recent discussions have included special Lenten study groups and a "Faith and Sexuality" seminar that met for four consecutive weeks.
